I've never gone to Disney but I got really interested in theme parks two years ago, first because I read some Baudrillard books and then because I saw links to my art projects and software development.
That got me to watching a lot of YouTube videos and there is a whole genre of "how do you manage the complexity", "look at the amazingly complex way Disney manages lines at Space Mountain", "it is too complex" and "the rent is too damn high" videos about Disney.
One case for limiting CEO pay is that executives have no insight into what people can really pay, even people at the 99%, 90% or 80% levels, never mind 50%. There was this
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Galactic_Starcruise...
which would have revolutionized the themed entertainment world if it were successful but the intersection of "people who would get the most out of this" and "people who could pay for it" was minuscule. In particular the experience would have had a lot of replay value and the audience participation aspect means that guests who had been through already could have made the experience better for everyone but priced as a "once in a lifetime experience" that just wasn't going to happen.
