No legal duty anyway. But a moral one.<p>I was buying ice cream at a Dairy Queen years ago, on a hot summer day. A lady pulled up in her rusty car, heaved herself out, must have weighed 300 pounds. Shuffled to the window, ordered a half-dozen shakes and sundaes. Got them, carried back to her car, and shoveled them in like it was a compulsive thing.<p>Nobody said anything, we tried not to stare. But I really wish the store had refused her service. It was clearly a regular thing. Like watching a heroin addict shoot up, or something.<p>Yeah, nobody is required by law to help. But somebody should.
