When it comes to news perspectives that cover all sides of an issue, or SERPs that surface issues that entrenched mainstream media are simply not covering, the news tab, while biased in itself, is less biased that the main search window. That has been an asset for me in my journey of self-education and independent, critical thinking. So this is disappointing
