Often times, these pay inequalities aren't even intentional, but a feature of our employment system. Through the last century, we have developed endless ways to gate keep our best paying jobs through systems designed to deny them to minority groups.<p>Our criminal, education, credit, and immigration systems are all designed around giving an advantage to white Americans and immigrants. It will take a TON of work to reverse this.<p>Without affirmative action, these nation wide systems will make sure that Microsoft white employees will get paid more.
