I have an idea with helping small medium business to use a certain tool, that I'm not aiming for the large companies and enterprises because those are likely to have their own team to deploy the similar stuff. I target SMBs specifically, because they often don't have enough capital to use that tool, but I fear that the startup seed fund panels won't like the idea because 1. It is kind of boring to them as it is not really novel and innovative, the stack is all based on well-known CNCF projects (but should be practical) and 2. also capital intensive at the beginning (I'm using hyperconverged infrastructure for this) and 3. I intentionally avoided AI because I think it is a bubble and doesn't mean much for SMBs, although AI related stuff would be added in later stages, given my idea is fruitful and after AI got away with the peak of hype cycle.<p>I fear that focusing on SMBs won't give me a positive financial outlook in the future, which maybe also be a bane, though.
