“the culture of Christianity” is not solely defined by evangelical Protestantism. Protestants make up 37% of the World’s Christians and, within the US at least, evangelicals make up roughly a third of US Protestants (according to Pew research). So, according to this poorly written title from NPR, “the culture of Christianity” is defined as what roughly 10% of Christianity follows. Wow. Makes the rest of the article just a little suspect…
