Hello HN!
Raffi and I cofounded Lago after pivoting from the initial idea that got us into the S21 batch at YC.
Lago is the open-source platform for real-time usage metering and billing. We serve customers such as Mistral.ai or Together.ai, are honored to engage and learn from a community of thousands of engineers, raised $22M from top investors in the US and in Europe, such as FirstMark.
We’re hiring across roles (back-end engineers, product managers, solution engineers, finance, etc), and for now all roles are based in Europe (we’ll open roles in the US later). This means we unfortunately won’t considerate candidates outside Europe at the moment.
Our stack is Ruby (we only hire strong individual contributors with more than 6 years of experience in Ruby), and React, .js (strong individual contributors with more than 3 years of experience).
We’re not hiring managers: we try to have the least meetings and hierarchy as possible, we’re looking for builders who get a rush of dopamine when they manage to crack unique and specific problems.
I think this chat Raffi had with the VP DevRel at MongoDB can give you a good overview of our vision and ambition : https://www.infoworld.com/article/3714620/open-source-comes-...
About Lago:

We have hired a recruiter to make sure we improve on this front, thank you for your patience and understanding!
Anh-Tho
