"It's Been a Game Changer": Examining Treadmill Desk Use When Working from Home

&quot;The study was constrained to 20 participants due to funding limitations&quot; is definitely not enough, and they were only paid a $50 Amazon gift card.. weird they couldn&#x27;t get more than $1k in funding.<p>I&#x27;ve integrated a treadmill with my standing desk at home, aiming for at least an hour of walking daily to achieve around 5k steps, with a weekly goal of at least 40k steps. Typically, by the time I get home around 5:30 pm, I&#x27;ve barely clocked 1k steps, but using the treadmill often boosts my count to over 6k by day&#x27;s end. However, I haven&#x27;t noticed any significant changes in weight or other health benefits. While it feels good to stay active, especially during passive activities like watching YouTube, I&#x27;m not convinced the benefits are as substantial as some suggest.
