Biden wants a space tax on companies like SpaceX that launch in the US

I wish they applied the same effort they have on creating new taxes on improving accountability and transparency of how those taxes are spent.

What do you guys think? My initial thought is that it sounds like a moronic idea. A lot of countries near the equator could offer better prices - French Guiana or rest of South America.
