Plato Document Reader for Kobo E-Readers

I don’t see any project history or motivation or comparison to other solutions.<p>Why would I use this over Koreader which:<p>* runs great on potatoes like K3W and Kobo touch C (and any Android or Linux system)<p>* has OPDS support (search and pull books from a calibre server)<p>* uses the same mupdf library

Does this support OPDS by any chance? For a second I thought it was somewhat related to the venerable PLATO system (the one with plasma screens and CDC supercomputers).
