I hear a lot of worry lately that AI is in danger of taking away a meaningful activity -- creating art -- from humans. But I'm convinced there must be a possible future where the actual impact of AI on art is similar to its impact on chess: We use AI to improve our own skills, and the activity gets more popular, not less.<p>One way I can imagine this happening is if AI learns to be a good critic, giving us helpful feedback on the art we create. Is anyone working on anything like this?
