Proves that I'm not the only one who thinks that things like this are relevant.<p>A couple of years back I also enjoyed reading "The Pagan Christ" by Tom Harpur. Thesis: Joshua ben Joseph, aka Jesus, did not actually exist: "early Church leaders fabricated a literal and human Jesus based on ancient myths." (Mithras, Dionysus, Osirus, et al.) A very good read.
