From my experience:
- First get it checked out to decide the size. If it's large you have to have it surgically removed.
- Stop eating or drinking anything that may trigger the stone. You don't know the type of the stone but definitely keep a very short list of food to be consumed.
- Drink a lot of water.
- Exercise a lot -- pick those that might help get the stone out, like cycling and jumping.
- (This is just what worked for me, ask your physician to confirm) Whenever you feel that the stone is stuck in the front of the urethra, and if you are sure about the size AND not in pain, drink a lot of water, jump around a lot and hold enough urine until you simply cannot hold. Go to the bathroom and see if it can get the stone out.
- Standing on your head might be a quick remedy for the stone. It won't get it out but can remove the pain quickly -- again just my personal experience.
- Whenever the stone is out, try to keep it and show to the physician so that you know exactly which type it is and which food to avoid.
