So we have a proposal that is -<p>a) easily broken given it has no effective revocation process. b) has no explanation of how it could possibly work on non-proprietary hardware and operating systems. c) opens with praise from Jonathan Haidt, who might kindly be described as a scientifically illiterate fantasist. d) does not understand that the problematic effects of age verification on queer teenagers is that their parents may be abusive, not that their parents could give them the occasional exemption. e) creates single identifiers that destroy private access and creates a honeypot for abusive sextortionists to target vulnerable women and teenagers in much the same way as any age verification system. f) gives a small group of big tech companies with arbitrary control over all content access. g) falls apart due to extraterritoriality, as Australia has just found out.

Who wouldn&#x27;t trust their kid&#x27;s safety to some multinationals that have shown time and time again that they can&#x27;t be trusted.

what this is really saying:<p>We, the big data grabbing tech companies will blame the parents for being complete neanderthals when it comes to protecting their children while using our data leaking, unsafe, insecure, not private operating systems.<p>when anyone, human or business offers help it is for their benefit not yours.<p>real unconditional help only happens when you directly ask for it

The child must learn from an early age how to kill someone without reason. Data mining is ok. Children must learn that they their Mother (Apple, Google, and Microsoft) always takes care of them. Ads are ok. How else will those reactionary human beings become part of the economy ? And the children do not need to own anything. Yes, capitalism is about private property, but we (Apple, Google, and Microsoft) can assure you that we will take good care of your private property (which, BTW, is ours after accepting the TOS). &#x2F;s<p>So, Microsoft, why is Edge allowed to run while i have to update my Family Safety settings to be able to run Firefox ?
