Hello HN,<p>We built an authenticator app[1] that is open source[2] and offers end-to-end encrypted[3] backups.<p>Since launch[4], the product has evolved a bit[5][6].<p>Auth is now available on Android, iOS, Linux, Mac and Windows[7]. We also have a read-only companion app for the web[8].<p>Backups are optional and free. You can use all our apps (minus the web) without an account.<p>You can also self-host[9] if you wish.<p>Please check out Auth, we'd be grateful for any feedback!<p>[1]: <a href="https://ente.io/auth" rel="nofollow">https://ente.io/auth</a><p>[2]: <a href="https://github.com/ente-io/ente">https://github.com/ente-io/ente</a><p>[3]: <a href="https://ente.io/architecture" rel="nofollow">https://ente.io/architecture</a><p>[4]: <a href="https://ente.io/blog/auth/" rel="nofollow">https://ente.io/blog/auth/</a><p>[5]: <a href="https://ente.io/blog/auth-v2/" rel="nofollow">https://ente.io/blog/auth-v2/</a><p>[6]: <a href="https://ente.io/blog/auth-v3/" rel="nofollow">https://ente.io/blog/auth-v3/</a><p>[7]: <a href="https://github.com/ente-io/ente/releases?q=tag%3Aauth-v3">https://github.com/ente-io/ente/releases?q=tag%3Aauth-v3</a><p>[8]: <a href="https://auth.ente.io" rel="nofollow">https://auth.ente.io</a><p>[9]: <a href="https://help.ente.io/self-hosting/" rel="nofollow">https://help.ente.io/self-hosting/</a>
