So, today I logged in and saw that my email inbox is full of alternating mails with "Sponsored" labels. Maybe I am part of some cohort, but it shows normally only in sponsored tab, but now it seems like it is spilling across other tabs as well. WTF Google? That's the last straw.<p>I am not some free user yapping about it, I am actually a paying customer of their Workspace product for a bunch of users and last I checked it includes Gmail too. Is there a way to turn it off or should I simply migrate to another service provider? What are some better privacy-aware alternatives that will make my transition worry free? It actually made me realise how much reliant I am on Google. All I need is a decent email provider and some storage solution so I can get rid of Google.<p>Thanks in advance.
