Show HN: Compass Pro: AI trained on expert interviews

Hey HN! Philippe, Tyler, and Viet here. We&#x27;re the cofounders of GetWhys, and we built Compass (<a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;www.getwhys.io&#x2F;compass" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;www.getwhys.io&#x2F;compass</a>).<p>Our customers (incl. Docker, DocuSign, Typeform...) use Compass to answer difficult questions about B2B software. Things like:<p>- &quot;How much does [vendor] charge for companies like mine? What should I do to implement it without messing up?&quot;<p>- &quot;How does my product stack up to the competition? What specific things should we prioritize on our roadmap?&quot;<p>- &quot;What pain points do my competitor&#x27;s customers have? Where is my product superior? What should I tell my sellers to tell them?&quot;<p>Over the past year, we&#x27;ve paid a small army of contractors to interview people who have bought, used, or implement B2B software. Compass uses RAG to pull from our interview transcript dataset, it produces insights you can&#x27;t get from ChatGPT, Perplexity, or anywhere online.<p>We&#x27;re still figuring out all the things you can do with Compass:<p>- Docker&#x27;s SVP of Marketing used Compass for message testing (&quot;I honestly can&#x27;t believe this was generated by AI. The feedback on our positioning helped us significantly uplevel what we came up with&quot;).<p>- Yesterday, I (Philippe) gave a webinar with Marriott and NovoEd. Compass generated all of the data we talked about.<p>Compass Pro costs $99 a month, for unlimited insights, with no lock in.
