Lilygo T-Glass

I had access to a Google Glass device through the university I worked for. This looks a lot simpler to develop for, and probably a good deal more usable as a heads up display for random stuff. Not to mention shockingly less expensive. Battery life on the Glass was also very poor. This can only do better on the battery front.

Interesting to see this here. I&#x27;ve got one on order, with the intention of making a google maps direction HUD (→ 0.3 Boren Ave) for cycling as I never remember which are the ideal turns, dislike watches, and think it&#x27;d be fun.<p>Overall, the lilygo ecosystem is a lot of cool ESP tech, with surprisingly poor software and community support.

It looks like the focus here is managed in the simple way with the distance. Are there any optical tricks to make the display closer (less sticking out), but still fake-distant? I know displays in cars and serious HUDs do a bit of mirror magic to &quot;redirect&quot; the distance, but that would make the side more bulky. Are there any other good ways?
