100% beef!<p>Means the whole animal not selective pieces of fillet, sirloin and rump:<p>Ground hoof, teeth, bone, gristle, hair, beak and steam cleaned bones.<p>Thats the whole 100%

&gt; In the right environment, our burgers, like most other foods, <i>could</i> decompose.<p>Uh, that first line really should read, “In <i>most</i> environments, our burgers, like most other foods, <i>will</i> decompose.<p>The fact that it doesn’t, and that “100% USDA inspected beef” only legally means “muscle and connective tissue from cattle the USDA has jurisdiction to inspect” is telling.<p>Especially in an America where there never have been enough USDA inspectors to ever come remotely close to setting eyes on, never mind meaningfully inspecting, even just 100% of the “beef” that enters the McDonald’s supply chain.
