I hate the disrespect that companies have for their customers. Whether it's Amazon or MOHELA, trying to get an actual human on the phone, past the asinine and near-useless voice recognition systems, can be very difficult. I had to <i>call</i> Amazon recently, exhausting all options online, and it was very painful but I eventually got a human. When companies make it so difficult, so obtuse to get them on the phone, when all else fails I think it's perfectly reasonable to email or call the CEO, VP, or anyone you can get directly.
