'Musk Is Supporting a MAGA Ticket That Will Just Hurt Tesla'

Tesla is an AI company right? Not an electric car company, the 2024 Republican platform explicitly calls out support of AI. Will the MAGA ticket really hurt Tesla electric cars more than Musk already has? If he’s pivoting away from cars, he doesn’t seem like the kind of guy to want to do it slowly, so seems relatively logical.

I don’t see how Musk could do anything but support republicans for this one particular election. The Biden administration seems to be personally going after Musk. If the executive of a country attacks you, then you support the other guy in the next election.<p>I have been a loyal democrat for most of my life, but when I saw President Biden giving a speech and he mentioned Musk and flat out said we should investigate this guy, I can’t express how disappointed I was.

Musk got hurt by the Democrat ticket that he voted for last time around. So it is only rational for him to take his chances with a Republican ticket.
