I disagree.
The opaque, non transparent news amd media is more damaging than any conspiracy theories.
Conspiracy theories are after all a consequence of opaque and non transparent news and media.
I get this all the time because I chose not to get jabbed.
You must be a conspiracy theorist, and anti-vaxxer etc
absolutely not! I am none of these things.
I am OK with people making a choice to get jabbed why does have to be negative if I choose something else?
I am just a person who made an informed decisison and followed my belief in autonomy (self regulation).
It really is that simple.
The constant negative attitudes towards conspiracy theorists drives those interested in conspiracy theories even deeper into the world of conspiracy theories.
Its like telling a teenager not to smoke, take drugs or have sex. It just wont work.
Its the human way.
For me, a retired psychotherapist, I think that conspiracy theories have risen over recent years because people do not listen to what they have to say or engage in valid discussions between both camps. What ever we all believe it is all valid and should be accepted as valid.
