or you could wait for companies that do stupid things to get sued out of existence. the problem with insurance is you have to find someone to insure you and it is likely difficult for insurance companies to evaluate the risk of publishing software. and if the could, large companies would simply factor the cost of insurance into running their business and pass the costs on to their customers.<p>though it's certainly worth more discussion.
