This is actually an interesting take on the RtO problem. By restating the issue in a way that "upper management" might understand better it clarifies the problems that RtO creates for the "normal" workers.<p>And as far as the Dell workers choosing remote over promotions, I completely understand and agree. In fact, if I were a Dell worker put into that position I would gladly accept the decreased change of recognition, stay remote, and do everything in my power to leave the company for greener pastures. Dell (and other companies with RtO mandates) are cutting off their noses to spite their faces.
