Anyone in the nutritional space who is still using the term "mediterranian diet" is an idiot.
Even neighbouring villages at the mediterrenian coast have different diets from village to village.
It's completely different all around.
So there is no "mediterranian diet" diet since every region eats differently.
Whenever you hear the term "mediterranian diet" you need to replace it with "zero modern processed foods and zero white sugar diets".
That is the only thing that these diets have in common, nothing else. Some are high in meat, other low etc... it's all over the place.
