People are finding a way to squeeze every last drop of blood out of every stone. Bad enough that high end clubs have VIP, bottle service etc, now “they” are coming to make it impossible to even get into a humble dive bar without a fee or a membership.<p>This is just like how the movies have gone from a great equalizer of reasonably priced entertainment into a “luxury experience” with $30 tickets, $20 buckets of popcorn, etc.
