All these issues are well known for a long time and nothing happened. Can someone with law background weigh in on whether this lawsuit has any chance of winning?

This industry is so fucked for so many reasons. First, impoverished postdocs pay thousands to publish their own research into $MONOPOLY. Second, the people actually reviewing this shit on the committee aren’t even paid.<p>Source: academic
