This seems to be just a re-reporting of the JetBrains survey (https://lp.jetbrains.com/python-developers-survey-2023/ ; previously on HN: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41473428, https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41406405, https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41396121). There doesn't seem to be any real insight here, just quotes from the article (compare other pages shared on HN: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41435781, https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41421412 - not especially fond of these, either, but they at least seem to be trying to make the results more relevant). Mentioning Python 2 in the headline in 2024 seems rather clickbaity, too.
