Americans will be able to renew their passports online

I gave up on this method because the system rejected every single photo attempt, even though I met all the requirements.<p>Ended up going to AAA for the photo and 10 minutes later at my local USPS my application was done.<p>I quite honestly spent less time doing it the old fashioned way than I’d spent trying the new online method.<p>Eventually I think this will be a useful method, but right now it was a real PITA for me.

I was in the pilot for this last year. It was a nice and easy experience. No post office trip and done within 3 weeks without having to pay any rush fees.
