Open/close transition of Flex SDK's tree view takes 300+ lines of ActionScript

I believe the successor to Flash and Flex is React, but we also lost almost 20 years while waiting for React to grow up, and it still isn't as accessible to novices like Flash was.

The code about animation starts at line 1812 and ends at line 2148. Kind of a lost art.
