Really?
Drones come over a military base, night after night, and the military can't track them? Not by radar, and not even visually? They can see them; why not follow them with a chase helicopter?
They are hardly even trying. Not trying to shoot it down, not trying to jam it, not trying to follow it. (They were trying to have the cops follow it based on called in reports? Seriously?)
After all that has happened in Ukraine, nobody thought that drones flying over a US base, repeatedly, might be something to take seriously?
I have a hard time buying it. Yes, I know, the US military is capable of being almost unbelievably dense, but I wonder if this isn't more of an aw-shucks routine. "No, we don't know who would be doing such a thing to us. It's really a mystery..." - while they've very quietly been tracking it and developing countermeasures.
