No mention in the article, but my understanding is that the #1 targets for corporate virtue-signaling are scarce&valuable-talent employees. Those signals need not be "left" nor "right" - at least in SE Michigan, plenty of corporations support food banks and literacy tutoring and symphony orchestras and such.<p>And, at least in the US, some business leaders could have utterly self-serving reasons to start disfavoring the Right. 'Cause if there's a civil war, then all those dollars & stock options they've been helping themselves to might just turn into worthless paper. );
