Progressives should worry more about their favorite scientific findings

I don&#x27;t automatically accept <i>any finding</i> in human health and health adjacent areas of study as true. That includes psychology, sociology, and the like. It&#x27;s all statistical analysis and is continually subject to the edict correlation is not causation. Anyone who&#x27;s done a few dozen trips around the sun should have learned by now that these studies rarely survive the test of time.<p>I&#x27;m not faulting anyone, it&#x27;s the nature of the beast. It&#x27;s messy.

In America, half the population identifies with neither tribe. We possess almost no representation in media or politics, which leads to conflations like in tfa.<p>The media and political scene in the US is basically 99.999% fear-based.
