It’s entirely possible that, like Trump, Musk’s legal exposure hinges on this election. Already, bystanders with a security clearance think twice about talking details with Musk, and we haven’t seen the details about his coordination with Putin.<p>But the last paragraph of this story downplays what Musk might do if he loses the election. Based on his personality, we’re all better off if he can just go back to business regardless of the outcome. He could win or lose, yet in both cases nurse the kind of grudge that has tended to get his offensive security apparatus involved. This is, I think, the second shoe to drop about Putin.
