I can see a situation where the bills are auto-paid from the same account that receives the subscription income. In theory, it can run forever if it needs no maintenance and it's a SaaS that is a basic need but it's a pain to achieve on your local computer. I can't think of a case but it's possible. There are still websites from the 90s that are running today that look and function as they did then.
