As a data point:<p>Intel Core based Framework 13s have support up to 64GB of memory, AMD Ryzen based 13s and 16s have support up to 96GB, all can be configured at their maximums on purchase.
Apparently after about ten years since the blog article was posted nothing really has changed in the RAM capacity department. I won't be surprised if laptop GPU VRAM will surpass the laptop RAM very soon.
