I’m a software developer and have recently launched a PC based automatic background remover that uses the same deep learning AI techniques as the various online services.
The value proposition is that it comes with a low cost lifetime license and works offline on low spec hardware (Celeron with 2GB RAM.)
However, I’ve noticed a proliferation in background removal tools in the last year, albeit mostly online services with limitations. Mac OS has native functionality builtin and the latest Windows 11 photo app can do it (although presumably you would need to match the hardware requirements to run Windows 11 itself).
Would you consider such an application useful? It does seem that the currently available offline desktop apps still come at a premium. I’m giving away a 50% discount coupon to anyone interested in trying it out.
Coupon: 8SYFG5BA
The tool is: https://bgone.indiewp.com
