The article doesn&#x27;t say, but I wonder if this suit is being backed by a &quot;detransitioning&quot; organization. A number of groups recruit people who are still unhappy after their transition, and promote them heavily. The fact that there are so few of these lawsuits implies that there just aren&#x27;t that many such people.<p>The plaintiff claims that they were prescribed drugs without any examination. If so, it should be easy to demonstrate from the records. It would be deeply unfortunate if such a prominent doctor had screwed up this case, and presumably there would be more such examples to follow.<p>And if not, that too should be obvious from the patient records. Unfortunately, that would not prevent the anti-trans organizations to keep seeking out any single individual harmed by their transition in the hopes of destroying the possibility of a procedure that has helped a great number of people who are very happy and healthy post-transition.
