When a company shows you who they are, believe them. If an ad company selling you a browser says you don't have permission to block ads, what makes you think they won't be making (or have already made) other customer hostile decisions?<p>There's alternative browsers out there, some of them quite good.

I started using uBlock Origin a while ago instead of umatrix and it did what I wanted automatically. Brave has it integrated so its not going away, despite Google's wishes.
