Clickbait title. It’s about “speedcubing”, i.e. competitions to solve Rubik’s Cubes fast.<p>The conclusions sound like pop science. It’s ridiculous to think speedcubing is “unique” (article’s words) in offering a “combination of cognitive challenge, [alongside] social connection, and personal achievement that contributes to happiness”. It’s also laughable to mention the state of “flow” in this context, since it lasts for literally less than ten seconds.
