Thus respect for others should lead us to be careful about claiming that we know anything for certain, and that means believing that truth is more than just [simple relativism].<p>While there are truths in context, this is only the case because there is often a common denominator which supports each context.<p>Relativism is often validated by examples which work on higher-level abstractions without doing the work to find the common underlying thread for each example, and how this divergence in truth often occurs.<p>In fact, the reasons for each divergence is often a common denominator in and of itself.<p>Relativism itself is a higher level abstraction for addressing the effects of different higher level abstractions, and all of this gets us farther away from any fundamental truth.
