I feel like email is used at great extent in professional environments, yet I honestly think there is something missing. The experience is mostly clumsy, hard to read, threads are not great, etc.
Though I am not fully sure how to fix that.
I am taking a stab at it (dobror.com but promote it is not the purpose of this post).
I really would love to know:
1. What do you miss in your email client?
2. Is there even a fix for that?
Thanks!
What is missing is leaving the experience alone, instead of trying to shove everything under the sun into it, including buggy AI and calendars, and making slow Electron apps. Sparrow was a fantastic email client. Had it been left alone, apart from UI tweaks to match the OS and compatibility fixes, it would probably still be near perfect.
GPG security. Somehow it needs to be easy to make and distribute keys, and store them. That way you can easily encrypt your emails, and authenticate them on the other end. Key management needs to be easier, so that everything else that needs to happen can.
