Most don’t do better than their parents. They went to the best public schools, followed all the rules, and didn’t get that far"<p>Grades and academics aren't the 100% key to success. I was an above average student and make more money and I would consider myself more successful than friends and family that did much better than I did in school.<p>On top of this, I have found that many people that focus this much in academics in their childhood, have issues later on in life because they were never able to actually enjoy being a child.<p>People like Musk and Vivek love H1Bs because they are not only cheaper, but are less likely to be able to take risks and start a competing company.
