Lots of people on /r/covidlonghaulers and on twitter have reported suffering Long Covid after having been vaccinated. The last report out of the UK from the ONS in July 2023 [1] shows that most sufferers are actually from Omicron onwards and in the UK adult vaccination is above 80%.
The vaccines just don't defend against Long Covid, they may reduce the risk a bit the studies show some potential protective effect but its definitely not sufficient. Given the high risk and high debilitation of Long Covid it would be sensible to take precautions to avoid catching Covid again until such time as protective vaccination is available as Long Covid will ruin your life.
[1] https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/healthan...

among those sick enough to seek treatment
The vaccinations numbers in the study are significantly different than the general population and massively different than the vaccination numbers in the vulnerable population. So it seems that the conclusion is that vaccination helps prevent serious COVID presentation, but long COVID is a side effect of serious COVID presentation, vaccination or no.

I had always thought that good quality science was not so definitive and certainty was not possible in science.
Yet here we have a sure "certainty".
where I ask is the scientist disproving this certainty,
Vaccination prior to infection "does not" affect neuromanifestations of Long Covid.
So its absolutely clear then because some random muppets in white coats say it is

Does this include people who were vaccinated 2+ years before said infection but never got a booster? We do know protection fades.
