Thought this was a good read. I'm currently coming back from 8 weeks paternity and struggling to get back into the hyperfocus I had entered a couple weeks prior to taking the leave. I got months of work done in weeks, sometimes having days where I hit a flow state for >8 hours and then kept that flow for days. Hyperfocus like that is something I wish I had more control over.
