As stupid as this branding is, the actual organizational change surprisingly makes sense. Rather than an outside committee declaring cost cuts without knowing the internals... have teams working together on modernization and streamlining. That sounds like half the jobs I've been in my career - "Take this old stuff, learn it, modernize it, and do it better and cheaper".<p>I'm no fan of the current leadership, and much as I'd prefer to hate on everything they do, this actually doesn't sound like a bad move.
