Integrating third-party LLMs more tightly into the iOS ecosystem would not only solidify their leadership position but also give them more control over the kind of AI experiences users have.<p>But the truth is, they probably won't. Apple strategy of allowing only the slight of integrations and waiting for a winner to emerge just to copy it is such a common trope that it's hard not to see it happening all over again.
