I'm a bit wary of this, but not for the reasons expected. The _whole_ point of the electoral college is states get to do <i>literally whatever the hell they want</i>. Most states do popular vote/winner take all, but as an exmaple, there is nothing that would prevent a state-level amendment that says the governor gets to select the votes.<p>So it's a tiny bit worrysome to see a federal agency work with a state on voting issues... definitely a conflict of interest. I'd rather a private firm do this.
