Scientists fight Norway's language law, warning of talent exodus

&gt; All doctoral and postdoctoral researchers hired from August this year who do not speak Norwegian, Danish or Swedish must complete 15 study points of Norwegian language training — about 3 months of study — during the period covered by their contracts.<p>It doesn’t seem like that BIG of a requirement, at the same time if it isn’t much, seems sort of pointless.

Science by nature should be a collaborative endeavor.
