It doesn't seem very surprising that drugs which affect the mind, mood, and desire for food or alcohol have this effect on some people. You could say it's not the drugs, it's the change in self ideation and I would not disagree but I do think it's unsurprising the weightless drugs affect libido.<p>I would think almost all psycho active/tropic drugs affect libido one way or another. Maybe this story is balanced by people with positive effects, it's probably complicated.<p>Perhaps the surprise is the surprise? That we continue to focus on direct primary benefit to individuals in health and on health economics in the wide, and forget the social component of changing yourself, in a relationship?
